About Us
Jannette Alix is the Master Event Planner of Jannette Alix Soiree, she received a Bachelor 's Degree in Hospitality Management in 1991, after completing her studies at the "Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra" of the Dominican Republic. Soon After graduating she relocated to the United States and began her event planner career immediately; choosing the great city of Miami as her home. SHe began coordinating weddings, quince parties and special events in some of the most prestigious locations of South Florida. For the past 20 years she has been in the convention services and social event catering industry at some of Miami's most elegant reception sites such as , The Fontainebleau Hilton Hotel. Embassy Suites, Hotel Sofitel, Intercontinental West Miami, Radisson in Kendall. Sheraton Biscayne Bay, Dave and Busters at Dolphin Mall and the Treetop Ballroom at Jungle Island.Jannette is passionate about planning elegant weddings, Quinceanera ceremonies and receptions. A proven leader in the hospitality field for so many years, she has seen first hand the stress that brides go through and therefore decided to open Jannette Alix Soiree.
After a long and rewarding career in the party industry, she offers her years of expertise to the brides, the Quinceanera an to her fellow special event vendors by now offering a complete event planning company as well as a bridal show production company, all wrapped up into one powerful party woman " Alix is the number One Choice! This Social event director has overseen many large corporate functions in a city as busy as Miami, the reason why she is respected by many of her peers in the special event industry. Her life has been about assisting companies, brides and quince girls of every walk of life, and at every level of planning. She is an accredited member of The National Association of Wedding Professionals, as well as one of their chapter presidents; a position attained because of her proven leadership skills.
